News Brief:
Mike Christianson of

Town of
Utica
has announced that he will be running for the District 53 State Assembly
seat. “I’m running for the 53rd
District State Assembly seat because I believe that I have real world
experience, leadership and common sense to approach and handle the
problems that we face in central Wisconsin.”
Mike
and his wife, Joyce, are local business owners. Mike attended Oshkosh
West High and UW Oshkosh. Mike is a sportsman/conservationist and has
been involved in several conservation/hunting minded organizations. This
involvement has taken Mike to Washington
DC
every year for the past 10 years to confer with our senators and
congressmen on legislation involving our hunting rights and conservation
efforts. Closer to home, he has been in
Madison
supporting our local senators and congressmen in their efforts.
Mike is a Republican and has
been working with both parties in
Madison.
“We need to work together if we have a hope of accomplishing anything”
Mike is 49 years old and has been married for 27
years. Mike also works with his family’s fireworks business. He
coordinates and lights the Fisk July 3 Fireworks Display. Mike is also a

My experience in the real world of
small business, taking a piece of legislation from it’s beginning to its
end and my relationship with the farming community, I believe has made
me a good fit for this assembly position.”
