Big Game Trophy Awards Competition

Northeast Wisconsin-SCI TROPHY AWARDS

2012 Trophy Awards Competition Winners

In the past few years, NEWI-SCI has offered an awards competition for animals taken worldwide. This is an opportunity for hunters to display their trophies to the public and earn recognition for their success.

Trophies entered will be judged on the one shot rule. That is to say, if you had only one shot, and that shot was for either a Stone sheep or a Black Bear entered in the North American category, which would you choose? Judging is based upon which animal is thought best to represent the category entered. The animal will not be judged on its SCI score, nor on the quality of the taxidermy work. Judges evaluations are independent and final.

AWARD CATEGORIES

President's Award - African - North America -
North America Introduced - World Wide - Archery - Artimis Award for Lady Hunters -
Youth Awards, (Under 18) - Wisconsin Whitetail Award.

ENTRY RULES and GUIDELINES:

  • Fee is $20 per entry. No limit on number of trophy animals entered.
  • Northeast Wisconsin-SCI Chapter membership required to participate.
  • They may be taken in any year.
  • The chapter President of Northeast WI-SCI selects the "President’s Award" from all trophy animal entries.
  • Winners will be announced and trophies will be awarded at our Annual Members Meeting in May.
